OVERVIEW
The Digital Marketing Manager will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of Overland Collective’s core digital marketing channels, including email, SMS, website, e-commerce, SEO, affiliate, and paid media. This role is equal parts strategist, operator, and analyst, responsible for driving audience growth, engagement, and revenue across multiple brands and digital touchpoints.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Strategy & Channel Ownership
- Lead digital marketing strategy across owned and paid channels for Overland Collective and its brands.
- Develop integrated, channel-specific plans aligned with brand, content, and revenue goals.
- Build iterative frameworks to test messaging, offers, funnels, and user journeys across platforms.
Email & SMS
- Own planning, execution, and optimization of email and SMS campaigns across editorial, commerce, and brand initiatives.
- Manage list growth, segmentation, automation, and lifecycle flows (welcome, re-engagement, post-purchase, etc.).
- Partner with creative and editorial teams to translate long-form content into high-performing lifecycle messaging.
Website & E-commerce
- Own day-to-day digital performance of brand websites, forum, and e-commerce experiences.
- Optimize landing pages, site structure, navigation, and acquisition/conversion paths.
- Support editorial content, series launches and product launches from a digital execution and optimization standpoint.
SEO & Affiliate
- Develop and execute SEO strategies in partnership with editorial and content teams.
- Identify keyword opportunities and optimize on-page content and site architecture.
- Manage and grow affiliate programs, including network and brand relationships, tracking, optimization, and reporting.
Paid Media
- Plan, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google and Meta.
- Own budgets, testing frameworks, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with creative teams on ad concepts, messaging, and formats.
Reporting & Insights
- Own digital performance reporting across owned and paid channels.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and optimization recommendations.
- Present insights clearly to internal stakeholders to inform strategy and prioritization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4–7+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth, or performance marketing roles.
- Hands-on experience across some combination of email, SMS, web, e-commerce, SEO, affiliate, and paid media.
- Strong understanding of funnels, lifecycle marketing, and site optimization.
- Experience working across multiple brands or digital properties.
- Comfort collaborating cross-functionally with creative, editorial, sales, and operations teams.
- Experience with analytics and reporting tools (GA4, Looker Studio, Triple Whale, etc.).
