The Scale of the Unknown

Phase 2 of the 25,000-mile global overland expedition kicks off in northern Scotland. The team heads for John o' Groats, where dramatic coastlines, winding roads, and the reality of the miles ahead start to set in. Scotland delivers unique experiences, and a very important birthday is celebrated along the way.

To stay on schedule, the team puts down serious miles, traveling by both land and sea as they push toward Norway. The journey is just getting started, and with every mile, the team begins to grasp the true scale and challenge of the adventure ahead.

Along the way, the team takes in the culture, history, and some fantastic coffee that make this part of the world so memorable. Moments like these offer a rare pause before the expedition pushes deeper into Europe.
