After a night of uncertainty in “no man’s land,” the team pushes forward, linking up with a military convoy through Cameroon’s infamous red zone. With armed escorts leading the way, they finally gain some ground.
What should be simple turns complicated fast. Misinformation, visa issues, and unpredictable border crossings leave the team constantly questioning who to trust and whether they’re being misled. Endless days of driving and nonstop setbacks start taking a real toll as the expedition fights to keep moving south.

Along the way, the team checks off several major milestones, including crossing into the Southern Hemisphere and coming face to face with wild silverback gorillas—an experience none of them will soon forget. After one of the hardest stretches yet, the team finally settles into a peaceful campsite to celebrate Thanksgiving and reflect on everything they have to be grateful for.
