Originally from the East Coast, Jimmy moved to Bozeman in 1994 to attend Montana State University and to start a new life in the West.
After graduating with a B.A. in Literature, he found work as a fly fishing and upland bird hunting guide before deciding to pursue a full-time career in education as a high school English teacher and adjunct professor.
Now fulfilling the role as podcast host for XOVERLAND, he loves working within the professional space of outdoor adventure, learning all he can every day to build his knowledge and expertise in this area.
When not in his office planning and recording podcasts, you will find him out and about aboard his adventure motorcycle, hiking along behind his bird dogs, or fly fishing and camping somewhere in the hinterlands of Montana.
