The border crossing this morning from Nicaragua to Costa Rica was really smooth. The farther south that we go the more we’ve noticed how the system of crossing borders becomes more streamlined, which is nice. We headed southwest to Playa Hermanos for the camp spot for the night. We were expecting guests tonight so Steve took the reigns on dinner and recruited a few sous-chefs for meal prep. If you ever get the chance to put 4 guys in a kitchen with Steve, make it happen because he made the most amazing grilled chicken with potatoes. Adrian and German arrived just as dinner was ready. Adrian owns a 4×4 outfitters company in Costa Rica and gets out quite a bit too. He is going to help guide us into some of those spectacular locations that only a few know about. At the dinner table everyone was glad to be able to get excited for the things to come.
