Milestones: Global Expedition

Milestones: Global Expedition pushed us farther than ever. What began as an idea to drive around the world became an overland journey across 35 countries and months on the road. Thirteen team members stepped into the arena and all were stretched.

To meet the demands of the journey, we relied on two custom 2024 Toyota Tacoma Trailhunters, joined by a fully custom 2025 Toyota Tundra built for filming, travel, and livability.

Join us for the scale, setbacks, and breakthroughs. This wasn’t just another trip; it meant longer days, tougher terrain and logistics, tighter borders, and more unknowns than we typically sign up for. This series is about what happens when the road demands everything you’ve got.

Episode 1

Big Dreams, Global Problems

The XOVERLAND team prepares to depart on the first phase of the global expedition. Deep research is conducted with well-seasoned travelers to establish the 25,000-mile journey. The overland trucks are built and taken to the XOVERLAND Ranch for a “shakedown.”

The Meeting of Two Worlds

Pushing east, the team drops in at the van Stralens’ island in Canada and barely makes it out. The expedition encounters challenging weather while pursuing the farthest eastern point of North America before shipping to England.

From Etosha’s wild landscapes to emotional reunions and the final push south, the end of the 25,000-mile journey is finally in sight.
